As Assistant Head of Junior School (Student Support Services), you will serve as an integral part of the student journey and oversee student support programs including: English as an Additional Language; Special Educational Needs; Social-Emotional Counselling; Wellbeing and behaviour; student transitions and Assistant Teachers in our thriving Junior School (KS2). This role is pivotal in providing proactive and responsive leadership to engage all stakeholders in the delivery of programs and services to support students. This is to ensure that extracurricular, academic, personal and social pathway development and entitlement for all students is of the highest possible standard. The Assistant Head of Junior School (Student Support Services) acts as a link to all relevant departments that are essential in ensuring student success. Reporting to the Head of Junior School, you will support and promote a culture which is focused on growth, purpose, and a sense of belonging and flourishing in all aspects of the student experience. We are seeking a highly effective, flexible and dynamic leader, with a genuine commitment to putting students first. This is an exciting opportunity for a leader with a strong commitment to developing world class student support services.
Candidates must have a teaching degree or PGCE from their home country as well as a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience.
