INTA China are currently working with an established and well-known British International school to recruit for a Primary Learning Tech Coach and Computer Science Teacher (Years 3-6) for August 2021.
As Primary (EYFS to Year 6) Learning Tech Coach and Computer Science Teacher (Years 3-6), you will serve as an integral part of the student journey and oversee the development of, and use of, technology by staff and students across the Junior and Early Years schools, be the Early Years (EYFS and KS1) & Junior School (KS2) technology integrator. This role is pivotal in providing proactive and responsive leadership to engage all stakeholders in the delivery of programs and services to support students in order to ensure extracurricular, academic, personal and social pathway development and entitlement for all students is of the highest possible standard. The Primary (EYFS to Year 6) Learning Tech Coach and Computer Science Teacher (Years 3-6) acts as a link to all relevant departments, that are essential to ensure student success to safe tech and device use. Reporting to the Director of Educational Technology and Innovation, you will support and promote a culture which is focused on growth, purpose, and a sense of belonging and flourishing in all aspects of the student experience that is aligned and shared across our network of schools.
The role of Primary (EYFS to Year 6) Learning Tech Coach and Computer Science Teacher (Years 3-6) will require the person to be an innovative and dynamic leader, excellent communicator and accomplished driver of change. The person must be able to effectively motivate, challenge and inspire individual staff commitment, while identifying strengths and areas of opportunity for growth. There is a requirement to teach Computer Science within the Junior School, with additional integration support expected in both Early Years and Junior School classrooms.
